Introduction:

James plays for the Los Angeles Lakers and is an American professional Basket Ball player who can be seen in many of the National Basketball Association (NBA). James started his basketball career by playing for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in his own hometown of Akron, Ohio, where the local media used to admire his talent and portray him as a future NBA star. 

After joining the Cleveland Cavaliers in the year 2003, he soon set himself up as one of the league's premier players. In the year 2010, James went to sign as a free agent with the Miami Heat after losing a championship with Cleveland. This agreement rose up as one of the most controversial free-agent settlements in American sports history. 

His passion and hard work towards basketball have brought him to the height where he is often compared to one of the greatest basket ballplayers of all time: "Michael Jordan". Off the court, James has acquired additional wealth and recognition from various endorsement contracts. His public life has been the case of much scrutiny, and he has been listed as one of America's most prominent and famous athletes. 

He is the part of the winning team in three NBA championships, who also holds two gold medals in the Olympics, four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards and three NBA Finals MVP Awards. 

While playing for the Miami heat, in the year 2012 and 2013, James won his first two NBA championship matches. In the fourth season, 2014, his contract expired to continue with Miami heat, and then he dissolved to play with Cavaliers. In 2016, he served Cavaliers and led them to win against golden state warriors, helping them get their first victory and end up the 52 year-long losing steak. During his presence from the year 2011 to the year 2018, his team qualified for the final all the eight times in consecution. In 2018, he again moved out of his contract to sign with Lakers. 

He has also been highlighted in books, documentaries, and tv advertisements. He also played as a host in the ESPY Awards and Saturday Night Live and worked in the 2015 film Trainwreck. 

Early Life:

In the city of Akron, Ohio, James was born on 30th December in the year of 1984. During his birth, his mother was just 16 years old, and her name was Gloria Marie James. His father had a solid criminal record and was out of the league when James was growing up. His early life was always full of struggle in the neighbourhoods of Akron, where they used to shift from places continuously while his mother, Gloria, struggled to get a stable and steady work. Understanding the fact that James was meant to be good at sports and move ahead in the same, Gloria allowed him to settle with one of the sports team football coaches who also noticed the talented James at a very early age. 

James started playing basketball when he was just in the fifth grade. He later played for the Northeast Ohio Shooting Stars in Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball. His team won initially in the local and then finally at the national level. As it was led by James and three of his close friends, the group called themselves "Fab Four", and all four of them decided to attend the high school together. This change happened as a result of their strong bonding during the AAU basketball league. They joined the school, which was predominantly full of white kids, to fight against a social controversy of that time.

Professional Time:

2003-2004, Season played as a Rookie: 

For the 2003 NBA basketball selection, James qualified to play for by his school and hometown team. Right after his arrival to the league of champions: NBA, James scored 25 points against Sacramento Kings, which also became an NBA record for most points scored by a prep-to-pro player in his debut performance. 

At the end of the season, he also received NBA Rookie of the year award and was the first Calaiver player to do so. Despite his high-grade performance, his team failed to qualify for the playoffs. Still, he received enough recognition to grow his career further and play more NBA games. 

With an amazing average of 20 points, five rebounds and five assists per game as a rookie, he became the third only person to do so in the entire league history. 

2004–2008, Becoming an NBA high league player: 

James got his first NBA All-Star Game selection in 2004–05, adding 13 points, eight rebounds, and six assists leading for the winning effort for the Eastern Conference. 

On March 20, James tallied 56 points against the Toronto Raptors, establishing Cleveland's new single-game points record. With the stats of his score per game, he was entitled to his first All-NBA Team. Despite a 30–20 record to commence the year, the Cavaliers were again not able to make it playoffs where they lost by two points. 

2008-2010, MVP Seasons: 

To the conclusion of 2008–09 season, James closed second in NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award voting and created his first NBA All-Defensive Team, with a career-high 93 blocks and posting 23 chase-down blocks. He was the fourth postmerger player to guide his team in points, rebounds, steals, assists, and blocks in just one season. 

2010-2011, Season of defaming and trolls: 

James officially signed and joined the Heat in July 2010. The same evening the Heat delivered a welcome party for their new "big three" players, with a charming rock concert atmosphere. 

Throughout this season, fans and media were hyperactive, who saw James and Heat as their villains. Adjusting to this new environment was not a cup of tea for Heat, and so they struggled to adapt to this new kind of atmosphere, going only 9-8 after 17 games. James also received extreme criticism for his performance in this season. 

Later he played many other seasons with Miami, where they made it to all eight seasons in consecution. He played the final game for Miami till June 2014, after which he returned to Cavaliers. From Cavaliers, he broke the 52 year streak of continuous loses where he led them to win for the first time in NBA.
