Manchester United Football Club is one of the professional football clubs of UEFA champion league which is composed in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. It competes in the Premier League, the top flight of English football. In the year 1998–99, the club was the first one in the history of English football to achieve the continental European treble.

Early Life and Career:

Pogba showed high talent at a very young age, growing as a member of local youth teams. He also entered the youth team of Ligue 1 side Le Havre, before a protracted transfer that led him to be the part of Manchester United in the year 2009. After starting his senior career with Manchester United within the next two years, limited appearances and openings influenced him to depart and move into joining Italian side Juventus based on a completely free transfer in the year 2012, where he became an essential part of the club in the next four consecutive Serie A titles. And not just stopping here but also helped with the two Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. As a player in Italy, Pogba got even more opportunities to build and establish himself as one of the most promising young professionals in the world, and also got his first Golden Boy award, in the year 2013. That was not short-lived as he received another Bravo Award in the year 2014. In 2016, Pogba was titled to the UEFA Team of the Year, 2015, and also as the 2015 FIFA FIFPro World XI, after backing Juventus to the 2015 UEFA Champions League Final, which was the very first for Juventus in their entire football history of twelve years.

Pogba's performances and achievements at Juventus spoke about his calibre on behalf of him. They finally opened doors for him to return to Manchester United in the year 2016 for a then-world record with a transfer fee of 89.3 million Euros. The amount that was paid to Pogba is still the highest amount ever paid by an English club in the history of UEFA champions league. After his return or homecoming to Manchester United, within the first season only, he won his league cup and Europa League as well.

Coming to his international career, he captained France to the victory at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He also got home his award for the Best Player for his overall performance during the entire tournament. After which, he made his next debut for the senior team a year later and starred prominently at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, where he was again awarded, but this time as the Best Young Player Award for his overall league performance. He then served his nation at UEFA Euro 2016 on the home soil, where he ended as a runner-up, before winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup where he also scored in the finals.

Footballing Skills:

He is mostly seen as a central midfielder. Still, he is well capable of playing on the left, in a holding role. In many games, he is also observed as a deep-lying playmaker, in a box-to-box part, or even as an attacking midfielder. Manchester United club describes their one of the critical player Paul Pogba as a "powerful, skilful, and creative" athlete who has "an eye for goal and a penchant for the spectacular." In Italy, during his time with Juventus, he got some of his cool and common nicknames like Polpo Paul ("Paul the Octopus") which was given mainly because of his long legs that looked like tentacles during tackling or running. In another way, he was referred to as "Pogboom" for his completely combustible playing style and aggressive strategies and energy on the pitch. He can be defined as a quick, hard-working and physically active player, he excels in the air and is well known for his stamina, as well as his strong and accurate striking ability from long distances. People have never been exhausted praising Pogba for his excellent skills and athletic power. Some of his praisers talk a lot about his finesse, technique, flair, and dribbling abilities, as well as his ability to hold up the ball for long times. His attributes and playing a role in midfield, initially led him to be compared with former France international Patrick Vieira, who was another great athlete during his youth.

When he was playing his final season with Juventus, Pogba was extended in a more high-level and productive midfield role rather than in his usual box-to-box part, which allowed him to carry more time on the ball, where he totally excelled as the team's primary playmaker, due to his vision, and passing range. His performances in this role saw him develop from a promising youngster into one of the greatest and most intact midfielders in the world.
