Introduction:

Roman Reigns is popularly known for his WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) wrestling and has emerged as a rising WWE stars of all times. His real name is Leati Joseph "Joe" Anoa?i. Before the commencement of the WWE wrestling career, he used to play American football. He has been actively part of the Canadian football league and the National football league.

He retired from football in the year 2008 and debuted in WWE as a trio member of the Shield. Shield emerged as a tag team of three of the mightiest wrestlers in WWE, namely Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins. During the initial emerging days of Shield, they became famous because of their domination and interferences in big league matches of WWE. They used to enter the ring and dominate and humiliate world-class wrestlers that include Ryback, John Cena, Sheamus, etc.

As a trio, the Shield team was solid enough to beat tag teams of very strong wrestlers. Many a time, they were referred to as unbeatable tag teams, until they lose to 6 times in the entire WWE history.

After Roman Reigns started fighting individually, the Shield has been dispersing and reuniting at times. Once he got the popularity of his own, Roman began to fight solo matches more often. He has established his domination by getting the title of WWE world champion four times, WWE championship title three times, and the title of Universal Championship one time. In addition to this, his title list also includes a one-time united state champion, one-time intercontinental championship, and also one time WWE tag team championship with his shield partner Seth Rollins.

Early Life:

Roman started his early life by trying his passion in football. Although he wasn't able to make it to big titles, and so he shifted and started focussing his career in WWE wrestling.

Though we won’t say Roman had some of the biggest accolades or triumphs in the field of football, here are some moments which actually were impressive by Roman in his entire professional football career. 

Roman was the part of football for three years at Pensacola Catholic High School and then one year at Escambia High School. During his time in senior year, he was entitled Defensive Player of the Year by the Pensacola News Journal. After his schooling was complete, he then joined Georgia Institute of Technology, where he became the part of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team. He entered the club and carried on there along with Calvin Johnson, who later was popularised as the wide receiver in NFL, which is abbreviated for National Football League.

Roman Reigns was initially the three-year starter during the commencement of his sophomore year and later got the chance to serve as one of the team captains during his senior year. Roman was titled as the ACC that abbreviated for first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference in the year 2006 and gained All-ACC first-team honours with the stats of 40 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and two recovered fumbles.

In the year 2008, Roman was signed for the Edmonton Eskimos in the CFL that abbreviates to Canadian Football League. His t' shirt jersey number used to be 99, and he played with the Eskimos for one season, where he starred in five games. Of all the five games, he was the one to start in three of them. Roman's most unusual game was when he used to play against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the month of September, where he helped and led his team to tie with five tackles and also made a forced fumble. Finally, Roman was released by the Eskimos, after which he moved to retire from professional football.

He has been working and training hard every day in the gym to come in shape and is said to have one of the best physical appearances in the entire WWE Universe. His height goes upto about 6 feet and 3 inches tall with a weight of 120 kgs. His masculine body appearance is mainly highlighted by his fifty-two inches chest and thirty-six-inch waist. Moreover, his biceps measure upto 20 inches wide and thick!

Born in a legendary American Samoan Anoa'i family, Roman has always been around a group of wrestlers from his family. His father, Sika Anoa?i himself, was a professional wrestler and very popular in WWE Hall of Fame. He was well known for his tag team, 'The Wild Samoans.' In addition to this, his brother, Rosey, is also following the wrestling profession along with his other cousins: Yokozuna, Rikishi, Umaga, and The Rock.

During his match in WWE, Roman Reigns have found to perform various moves that are strategically plan to beat his opponents, but some of the very common of his moves, which one may get to see in almost all his matches include Moment of Silence, Spear, Samoan drop, Superman Punch and Multiple corner clothesline.

In his move of the moment of silence, he tends to lift his opponent almost about to his shoulders from which he drops, giving a colossal body impact. Spear is his signature move, and the Samoan drop is the move he inherited from his father, who used to perform the same step during his time.
