Introduction:

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the legendary player of the Indian cricket team. He captained the Indian cricket team from 2007 to 2016 and captained the Test matches from 2008 to 2014. Not only a skilled batsman, he is also a skilled wicket keeper.


Childhood Life:

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born on July 7, 1981 in a middle class family in Ranchi, Bihar. His father's name was Paan Singh Dhoni, a junior management in the profession. His mother Devika Devi was a housewife. He has an older sister named Jayanti Gupta and brother Narendra Singh Dhoni.


Study:

He initially studied at the Dave Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Ranchi, Shyamoli. From school life, he played football and badminton. His enthusiasm for cricket came from his tenth grade.


Career:

As a ticket collector since 2001, he worked at the Kharagpur station. But in 2003 he was concentrating on cricket.


Marital life:

On July 4, 2010, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sakshi Singh Rawat got married. Sakshi was working in Kolkata while studying Hotel Management. Sakshi gave birth to a daughter in February 6, 2015. Whose name is jiva.



Cricket Life:

From the time he was in tenth grade, Mahendra Singh Dhoni showed interest in cricket. In 1998 he was selected to play for the CCL team. During this time he used to study in class XII. With his help, the CCL team moved to Division A for the first time. Then the Ranji team from Bihar got a chance to play. He scored 68 against the cricket team in Assam, though he had 283 total runs this season. He played in the Ranji Trophy again in the 2002-2003 season where he scored three half-centuries. He scored 128 against Assam in the One Day Ranji Tournament the following year, making it easier for him to win the Deodhar Trophy from the East Zone. He was then allowed to play against international cricketer Deep Dasgupta in the final of the Duleep Trophy, where he scored a half-century.

Then for India's A-squad, he amassed 362 runs and surprised everyone. From this point he came to the notice of Sourav Ganguly, the then captain of the Indian cricket team. Then, in 2000, he had a chance to play against Pakistan for the One Day Cricket Team. He made his debut as a skilled wicketkeeper in the second game of the series and set a record. In 2005 he had a chance to bat in the first ODI series against Sri Lanka. In this game he won the Man of the Series award and received BCCI's B grade contract award.

He played his first World Cup for India in 2007. However, India did not win this World Cup. He later became known as the voice captain in the ODIs against South Africa. As a result, he was promoted from B grade to A grade. Then in 2011 he played for the second time in his life. He played for India in the final against Sri Lanka. He scored 91 runs in this match and the bat he played with was sold for Rs 72 lakh. In 2011, the Indian cricket team won World Cup cricket significantly.

He was captain of the India team in 2014 and in 2015 the following year he played his third World Cup in his life. But lost to Australia. He then played his last World Cup by 2019, where the Indian team reached the semi-finals.


Indian Premier League:

Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the IPL in 2010 for the Chennai Super Kings team at IPL. In the next year, 2011, he and his team Chennai Super Kings again won the IPL. Then in 2018, Chennai Super Kings again won the title of IPL. The team also won the 2010 and 2014 T20 Champions League.

Movies:

'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' was released in 2016. It was Mahendra Singh Dhoni's autobiography. Sushant Singh Rajput played the role of Dhoni in the movie. It was released on September 30, 2016.
