Madhuri Dixit was at the top of all the famous Bollywood actresses of the eighties. Not only was she an actress, she was also a skilled choreographer, a producer. She was also one of the most beautiful actresses of the time.

Childhood Life:

This Bollywood actress was born on May 15, 1967. She was born to a well-respected Brahmin family in Maharashtra. Her father's name was Shankar Dixit and her mother's name was Snehlata Dixit.

Study:

Madhuri studied in elementary life at Child High School in Mumbai. She then attended Mumbai University for higher education. Her subject matter was microbiology. In early life she wanted to be a microbiologist, but she had a special interest in choreography. After completing her studies, she worked as a dance choreographer.

Married Life:

Her and Sanjay Dutt's love story is known to all. It is heard that while acting in the movie 'Saajan', a love affair developed between the two. But soon there was a breakdown about this. Then on October 17, 1999, Madhuri married Surgeon Madhav Nini. In 2003, her first child, Arin, was born, and in 2005, her second child, Ryan, was born.

Acting Life:

She started his career in dance. In 1984, she made her Bollywood debut with the film 'Foolish'. But here she did not play the lead role. Then she got the opportunity to perform in the lead role through the film 'Tejab'. The film was a great success. She was also nominated for the Filmfare event due to this film. She then came to the attention of all the directors.

Subsequently a number of her films were released, most notably, "Trudev", "Parinda", "Ram Laxman" etc. Anil Kapoor, the best actor of the time, acted with her in these films. Then in 1990 she was seen to star in the film 'Dil'. Here, the opposite actor was Amir Khan. She was awarded Best Actress that year for her outstanding performance in this film. At the end of the year, she acted in the film ‘Krishan Kanhaiya’, which was a special success. Anil Kapoor starred opposite her in this movie. A few months later, 'Ijjatdar' was released which did not achieve much success. Then in 1992 she and actor Anil Kapoor starred together in their next film 'Beta'. She was awarded the Best Actress for her outstanding performance in this movie. The same year her 'Khel', 'Prem Diwana' was released which was a huge success.

The following year, she acted in the film ‘Khal Nayak', where she played the lead roles in opposite of Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff. In this movie she was an undercover police agent and her character was Ganga. The film was a huge success and it was rated as the highest grossing film of the year.

Then her next film, 'Hum up ke hay kaun' was released. The film was so successful that it broke the record of the famous film 'Sholay'. She was awarded the third best actress of her life for her performance in this movie. Then her films like 'Arju', 'Pukaar', 'Koyla' were released. In 2001, she had starred in the film 'Ye Rasta Hai Par Ke'. Here opposite actors Ajay Dev and Preeti Jinta have acted.

Then she was seen in the movie 'Devdas' directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In this movie she has starring Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan. The film was also one of the top ten films at the Cannes Film Festival. She won the Best Supporting Actress award for her acting in this film. She was not seen in any movie for several years after that. By 2007, she was once again seen in the film world with 'Aja Nachle'. The film was a special success.

She was then seen in the movie 'Dedh Iskiya' in 2014. She then appeared in the movie 'Gulaab Gang' which was directed by Soumik Sen. In 2019, she was back in 'Total Dhamaal'. Here she was besides Ajay Devgan. This movie made a huge success. Then her last released film is 'Kalank'. Here she is seen as a choreographer.
